Conestoga operates six automated cold storage warehouses with a total storage volume of over 64 million cubic feet.

State-of-the-Art Inventory Management

We are as much a technology and automation company as we are a cold storage service provider. We develop and support our own Warehouse Management System allowing us to adapt to manufacturers’ and distributors’ changing demands with greater flexibility.

Integrated RF capabilities and an online web portal give our customers the ability to view their inventory in real time. ASRS provides reliable and accurate order fulfillment and inventory tracking.

To meet growing customer expectations, we offer advanced inventory data EDI syncing, on-line reporting, and hold control. Advanced Shipping Notices with case-level product information and customized shipping labels allow receivers to scan pallets into inventory at the receiving docks.

Nationwide Warehouses and Crossdocking

Our dedicated team of cold storage professionals care about your business. Our associates receive intensive training and are fully versed in the technical aspects of our inventory tracking systems. They truly are experts in their fields.

Our fully automated high-rise storage buildings are energy efficient and more than 80% of our capacity is operated from these facilities, which have a small roof load, small doors, and no indoor lights.

Our refrigeration systems automatically switch to on-site power generation during periods of high hydro demand, thus reducing energy consumption during peak hours. We utilize the waste heat generated by the refrigeration systems to heat the dock areas and supplement the under-floor frost-protection systems.

CFIA

We understand the complex nature of the Canadian food supply chain. We also understand that frozen food products require expert handling at every stage. All our facilities are CFIA approved to export meat, fish, and other regulated products to the global market. Onsite CFIA inspectors make this process seamless and stress-free for our customers.
